  • April 26, 2022Saskatchewan has expanded the eligibility for fourth doses of COVID-19 vaccinations to all residents aged 50 and older effective immediately. The fourth dose is recommended four months or longer after having received the third dose. Previously, the fourth dose was limited to individuals over 70 or those 50 years and older living in First Nations and Métis communities or in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District.   • Feb 24, 2022 – The remaining public health orders, including the requirement of masking in designated indoor public spaces, will remain in effect until the end of day, Sunday, February 27. All public health orders will be removed as of Monday, February 28, 2022. More information is here.

  • Feb 8, 2022 – The requirement to provide proof of vaccination or negative tests in Saskatchewan will end this Monday, February 14th at 12:01 am. The remaining public health orders requiring masking in indoor public spaces remain in effect until the end of February. More information is here.
  • Jan 28, 2022 – The Government of Saskatchewan has announced that, individuals who test positive for COVID-19 on either a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test are required to immediately self-isolate for five days, regardless of vaccination status. Close contacts will no longer be required to self-isolate. More information is here.
  • Jan 12, 2022 – The Government of Saskatchewan extended the current provincial public health order till February 28. More information is here.
  • Sep 16, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Government announced mandatory masking and proof of vaccination to address pressures on the healthcare system caused by rising COVID-19 cases. More information is here.
  • Sept 10, 2021 – The Government of Saskatchewan announced a new public health order addressing self-isolation among unvaccinated people today, along with other measures to address pressures on the health care system. More information is here. 
    Sept 7, 2021 – With COVID-19 cases on the rise again across the province, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Indigenous Services Canada, Northern InterTribal Health Authority and First Nations Partners have come together to launch the first phase of a vaccine auto-notification system.   • Aug 9, 2021 – With the number of COVID-19 cases rising in Saskatchewan, the Ministry of Health reports that new cases and serious outcomes from those cases are overwhelmingly among unvaccinated people. Details are here.
  • Aug 3, 2021 – This is the final week for drive-thru and mass immunization clinics. Effective August 8th, the Saskatchewan Health Authority will shift focus to vaccine pop-up clinics. Details are here.
  • July 9, 2021 – All residents 12+ are eligible for first and second dose immunizations, with a minimum of 28 days between doses. This week of the reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan 81% were unvaccinated, and only 1.8% of COVID-19 cases were fully vaccinated. Details are here.
  • June 23, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced that effective June 24 second dose vaccine eligibility changes to a minimum of 28 days between doses. As well, 45,000+appointments are available. Details are here.
  • June 9, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced that effective June 10 second dose vaccine eligibility drops to 55+ years old or anyone immunized on or before April 7. As well, additional appointments have been added to their Patient Booking System. Details are here.
  • June 4, 2021 – The Government of Saskatchewan has announced that second dose immunization eligibility is 65+ years old and individuals who had their first dose on or before March 22. Details are here.
  • May 25, 2021 – The Gov of SK announced that some outdoor sporting activities will be moved up and added to Step One of the Re-Opening Roadmap, set for Sunday, May 30. Details are here.
  • May 19, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced COVID-19 immunization eligibility for first dose immunizations moves to age 12 and older throughout the province, effective Thursday, May 20, 2021. Details are here.
  • May 18, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced a school immunization program will begin in June. Also, effective Wednesday, May 19, 2021, vaccine eligibility is 16 and up. Details are here.
  • May 5, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced that effective May 6, 2021, immunization eligibility moves to age 35 and older, and for residents living in the Northern District remains at 18 and older. More information can be found here.   • April 27, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced that effective April 28, 2021, immunization eligibility moves to age 42 and older, and for residents living in the Northern District 30 and older.   • April 25, 2021 – The Gov of SK announced that the current Public Health Order has been extended until May 10, 2021 here.
